Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The food was very good and portions were large; but I would have liked it to be spicier. We were there on Friday night and it was busy! The reviews said there was a fair amount of "ambience noise" and I agree. We were able to have a conversation but it could have been easier. We all tasted the "Ultimate Margarita with Mezcal ($17)" and the "El Toro ($15)" margaritas. The El Toro was better. I recommend the restaurant but go in knowing it can be noisy."
"An authentic Mexicana style restaurant that truly delighted my husband and I. Stopped here on a whim and enjoyed a Carne Asada dish. They also give you a free tostada to enjoy. Split our meal as portion sizes are robust. Enjoy a well resourced drink menu listing a wide selection of tequila and cocktails. Great place to hang with friends or family! Friendly and prompt service. Oy yes, tortillas are freshly made and served warm."
"Amazing food and large portion. The crunchy appetizer was very interesting (had a little spicy kick) but I wish they’d just give tortilla chips and salsa instead. The spicy shrimp mushroom dish was actually so spicy with chili seeds all over that we had to order a side of sour cream to eat with. Also minus point that sour cream costed $4"
"This is one of the more authentic Mexican spots I’ve had in Seattle. The food didn’t completely wow me, but it was still pretty good overall. I’d definitely like to come back and try their tacos next time they seem like they could be really good."
"Best Mexican restaurant in Seattle! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and an amazing menu with lots of options. The food was incredibly tasty, and the portions were very generous for the price. Definitely recommend. We will absolutely be coming back again!"
"This is my second time visiting, and I’m already in love with this place. The Mexican food here is so delicious, and the portions are big. The staff are really sweet and friendly too, it just makes the whole experience even nicer. I’ll definitely be coming back!"
"The tortilla soup was delicious definitely get it and the chilaquiles were super good. The snowflake cocktail was okay I tasted more of the alcohol I’m more of the sweet drinker so I did leave it full not my cup of tea Abilene was our server and she was sweet definitely a warm welcome from here! Come here if you do want Mexican food"
"Friend and I came here after the Seahawks championship parade because he said I had to try it! I’m glad he brought me here because this place was really good! We came around lunch time so we were lucky enough to order from the lunch menu. Once you walk in there is a person making fresh tortillas. So you know this place is going to be good! Their lunch menu is a solid lunch menu! I got the torta and a Pacifico and that torta was massive! They even give you a refried bean tostada as an appetizer for free! Glad I came here while I was in the area and I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu."
